BetBoom: Community chat to grow engagement
Watchers integrated the community chat into the BetBoom platform in Brazil. Community significantly increased user engagement and connection with the platform, as well as the number of transactions due to the win-sharing widget.
Betboom is a casino and sports betting platform. Watchers chats are integrated into the casino part with a general community chat that allows users to gather together, discuss their experience, share information about their wins through a special widget, and watch live streaming directly on the platform.
The website and app are available in Portuguese.

- A customised community chat available on the platform. Users see the chat before the authorisation, after logging in they can communicate via text, threads, stickers, and emojis.
- Implemented advanced moderation tools designed to foster a positive environment for user interactions. The AI moderation system effectively supports conversations in Portuguese, boasting a precision score of 94-96%. This ensures a safe and secure space for all participants, allowing them to engage freely and confidently in discussions.
- Win-sharing widgets that allow users to share information about their winnings in two clicks. Other users can join the same game by clicking a widget. The widget has been helping the platform increase the retention level because of leading users into a game.

User journey
- Users of the platform see the chat before the authorisation: they can open it for a readonly mode. There are three entry points to a chat. When you users try to join the conversation, they are sent to the authorisation page. When authorised, they need to create a nickname, choose an avatar, and they can participate in the communication.
- They can report other users' messages, reply to them in threads, and react to messages. Messages marked with time of sending, and reading mark. Users also can send animated stickers in a chat to support liveliness and emotional level, send anonymous animated emojis
- If users have won, they can share the info about the amount of money they won and the title of the game where they won, through the special widget. Other users can click it and open the initial game to try their luck.
- When the live streaming is going on, users can see the video right inside the chat and comment on it.
A community chat helps users stay engaged and connected with the platform before and after the games, and a win sharing widget allows the platform to cross-promote the games in a user-driver manner with no additional resources involved.
